Army has been back with me awhile now and he is doing very well.
He is the best boy in the house and does well with all the other greys in
the house. Army stays in his crate durng the day for up to 9 hours and has done very well in the crate. He sleeps in my bedroom on the dog bed next to the bed. He sleeps thru the night and never makes a peep. Army has calmed down quite a bit since I first had him and he has very good manners. He loves to ride in the car and go for walks. He plays with stuffies and will play fetch with you. Army is NOT small thing safe but is very manageable on walks. Army is a very sweet dog and loves to be petted and loved on. Army will make someone a really nice dog but they will have to understand a high prey dog.

We have a had a lot rain lately and bless Army Dog for walking in the rain. He does not love it but he understands he needs to do his business and then it is time to get back to the house. Army really likes when we get inside, then it is toweling off time. Army seems to like this, which does not surprise me. He is always up for getting more rubs and attention.

Army, Army, what can I say about Army. He is such a happy dog. When I get home from work I hear noises hard to describe but joyful. As I walk through the door into the kitchen, I hear bang bang bang of the tail against the wall and sometimes he lets out a sighing wine to say, "finally everyone's home". All of us, humans and dogs alike feel better when the pack is all together and Army is no exception. He wants to be involved or close enough to know he will always be there. What a great dog.

We decided to place a dog bed beside the couch so we can reach down and pet the hounds. Army really likes this bed over the the other in front of the fireplace. Any place to rest and get more neck rubs is Army's kind of place.

Army came back to us a couple of weeks ago and he had no trouble remembering our rules. Army is such a happy dog. He enjoys anywhere you take him. We take him to a play day with some other greyhounds and he is always excited to go and play.

This is Army enjoying some play time.

Army enjoys going anywhere and plays okay with other greyhounds but I still believe he makes a great only dog, maybe he even prefers it. He wants all the love and affection, and he will stand for a long while and take as much as your hands are willing to give. Army is actually nosing me right now for some extra attention. He just got done eating so he is going to lie down and sleep, which usually in the most adorable yoga like position.
